SUNLIGHT Recycling : Significant Increase of Production Capacity for the factory in Komotini

DSC_7264SUNLIGHT Recycling completed successfully its first year of operation, achieving a production capacity, for year 2015, of more than 6,500 tons of soft lead and lead alloys from the waste battery recycling.

For 2016, SUNLIGHT Recycling has decided to proceed with a significant increase at the Komotini plant production capacity, covering a large part of lead needs for Systems SUNLIGHT.

SUNLIGHT Recycling full production capacity will contribute to further protect the environment, since according to official data of BIR (Bureau of International Recycling) it will help to reduce oil consumption by 4.27 million liters required for mining and lead processing of equivalent quantities. Additionally, it will help to reduce CO2 emissions in the atmosphere by 25.480 tonnes, that corresponds to the annual CO2 absorption of 2.27 million trees.

The SUNLIGHT Recycling sustainability, environmental orientation and commitment contributes to the creation of a better future for us and our families. Recycling is everyone’s responsibility!
